Keegan Apologizes For Spitting

I think it is a measure of golf’s relatively tame nature that a controversy brews up—and an apology is in the offing—over a player spitting. At last week’s Northern Trust Open, Keegan Bradley was caught on camera spitting his way around the course. Not a Sergio-Garcia-Spitting-In-The-Cup-Out-Of-Spite kind of event, but spitting on the ground in a baseball player with birdseed fashion.
Keegan has apologized on his twitter account.
The NFL, NBA and MLB would be thankful if the had so little other bad behavior that spitting on the ground becomes a major media event.
