Everyone is in love with this Masters win by Jack. He certainly deserved it.
Unfortunately, it came at the expense of Seve Ballesteros who led most of the tournament and was trying to win the Masters for his extremely ill father. Losing that tournament broke Seve’s heart and began the decline in his remarkable career. That’s what I will remember about that tournament (along with Nicklaus’ terrible, garrish pants).
