Izzo Golf Medicine Ball

Izzo Golf Medicine Ball

One of the first training exercises I practiced was with a medicine ball. Holding it in my hands, I would make a short backswing, and then follow through. It was great for developing the proper weight shift. The one I have isn’t anything special—it’s just one of those designed for school gymnasium use. This one, however, seems to come with a dvd of additional golf exercises you can do.

  • I have never heard of using a medicine ball for conditioning before, but that is a great idea.  I have a weighed club, but that does not penetrate your core and balance like a ball would. Thanks for the tip!!
