Indian Summer In Michigan

We’re having an Indian Summer this week in Michigan. Temperatures are near 60; the sun is shining; the air is still. I played yesterday in shirtsleeves and it was absolutely delightful. Even better: I shot my best nine of the year—a 39. There was still a bit of sunlight left, and I was playing so well that I briefly considered squeezing in another nine. But I figured why mess with such a good score. If that’s the last nine of the year, I’ll have a lot of good memories when the snow flies.
Fall golf is without a doubt my favorite of the year.
