Hole By Hole Analysis of The US Open at Oakmont

Here’s a nice hole-by-hole description and analysis of Oakmont as it’s set up for the US Open.
It’s worth noting that this is not your father’s Oakmont. When last the Open visited Oakmont in 1994, it was a tree-lined parklands course. In the ensuring years, the club has removed thousands of trees, returning it to the original vision of founder Henry Frownes. Frownes chose the location because the open fields reminded him of Scotlands’ links courses.
