Historic Putter Found In Attic

April 28, 2009

You’ve heard those stories about people finding valuable pieces of art in Salvation Army stores. Or the guy who found an original copy of the Declaration of Independence in a four dollar frame be bought at a flea market. Now how about a classic putter showing up in an attic? A guy cleaning out the trash in his attic recently found a putter used to win the 1939 British Open Championship. It’s believed to be worth around $20,000.

Why can’t this sort of stuff happen to me?
