Heavy Putter Matte Finish

HEAVY PUTTER Matte Series Putter
It’s a shame these putters are so expensive, because I absolutely love the way they feel. I’ve played iwth a Snake Eyes putter that’s on the heavy side for a couple of years now, and absolutely believe that heavier putters make for a smoother stroke. Now, they offer the putter in a matte finish, which I think is alsy a very good thing. At a time when you least need distractions, the last thing you need is a shiny reflection off your putter surface getting in your eyes.
But there’s no way I can justify spending $200 on a putter.

It’s interesting how it’s easier to justify shelling out big bucks for the latest titanium driver, which may get used a dozen times per round, than for a putter, which will be used 30 or more times/round, and has a much bigger influence on the score.

To me the putter is the one club in the bag that if pleasing to me in looks, feel, weight, etc then money is no issue.
With that, I don’t understand why people pay outrageous prices on putters because of who made it or how popular it is.

When I was getting my wife interested in golf I bought her a few irons and woods, but told her she’d have to buy her own putter, telling her that a putter is a very personal thing. She thought I was nuts until she started trying different ones.

I proudly justify the $200 I spent for my Heavy Putter B3 Matte Series each time I leave the green. My putt is consistent and my game is better.

I bought mine (brand new) on eBay for $155 CDN. It is a must-have in the bag. Excellent new concept and has given me the confidence in making more putts.
