If I dealt with my health issues the same way I deal with my golf issues, I’d be in the obituary section of the papers as a cautionary tale on the dangers of self-medication.
Rather than spend a fortune on to gain the help of professionals, I spend a fortune on books, dvds and gadgets. I’ve got a real do-it-yourself streak in all of my other activities, and that extends to my golf game.
The latest thing on my must-view list is Hank Haney’s series of DVDs on various aspects of the golf game. Tiger’s coach now has a four DVD set that covers strategy, putting, the short game and the full swing. Appealing most to my handicrafter instinct is the promise that Haney will help you identify your swing’s flaws and come up with solutions to correct them.
When you’ve got DVD, who needs a PGA Pro?
