GolfSmith Driver Giveaway Costs $1 Million

This spring, GolfSmith offered a “If Phil Wins, You Win” promotion in which participants could win a free Callawayd river if Phil Mickelson won the Masters. He did, and now GolfSmith has to pony up—to the tune of $1 million.
Fortunately, just as with local golf outings that buy hole-in-one insurance, GolfSmith and Callaway purchased insurance to cover the possibility.

I can’t wait to see how my FT-iq plays! Never had an 11 degree driver, but I am hitting fairly low drives lately (about 260)—hoping that this increases distance a little.
