Golfsmith Custom Clubfitting Online
Golfsmith has a new custom clubfitting program. It takes you through a bunch of questions about your height, wrist-to-floor measurement, hand size, driver carry distance, desired flight, accuracy, etc. and gives you recommendations based on your input. You then can order the clubs directly from the fitting choices.
Clubfitting is a great thing, and if you’re unsure about what you need, you should get fit before you buy your next set of sticks. The problem with my local proshops, though, is that they all push certain brands of clubs. So you can’t be sure if you’re getting the one with the best fit, or the one that the salesman wants you to buy.
I’m not sure how you avoid that problem.
