Golf Glass Dome Trophy Case
GREAT GOLF MEMORIES Personalized Glass Dome Hole-In-One Trophy
I saw this glass dome trophy case and thought it was pretty neat looking—sort of like an old fashioned orrery for tracking planetary rotations and the like. Its for holes-in-one, but if you played a special course, or a low round and wanted to commemorate the ball, this would work well for that also.

It is a clever idea if one is inclined to preserve the hole-in-one ball. I have seen balls mounted on plaques with the hole design and/or details listed. This appears to involve less effort and expense.
My first hole-in-one ball is rattling around in a desk drawer in the basement (scarred up Wilson Ultra from about 1995). Wilson Ultra was my ball in the early 1990’s. I really have no great attachment to the ball but can’t bring myself to toss it. Frankly, I would be mildly embarrassed to mount the ball. Displaying the discolored and scratched Ultra would be more a statement of my frugality than athletic ability!
I don’t even recall what I was playing for the second ace - probably a beat-up Titleist Pro V1. I tend to play well-used balls in the Fall because of the leaf problem. I am sure that urethane clad soldier went to his grave shortly after the big event.

Glass Domes are awesome to present nearly anything on a trophy shelf.
