Golf Games: Criss Cross, or Best Nine

February 9, 2011

In this game, you play 18 holes, and then compare the front nine to the back, taking the best score on each pair of holes. Hole one is matched to ten; two to eleven and so on. Ignore the fact that they aren’t (usually) equivalent pars. Add up the resulting nine scores for your result. You also can play this in teams, taking the best of four available scores.
