Definitely a cool chess board. Think I would’ve used caddies in argyle for the pawns.

That’s a nice looking set!
You should check out the hand-carved “Golf Chess Set” at yessy.com/jimarnold. A similar version (created by the same artist) was commissioned for a top PGA exec. several months ago. Solid Maple and Walnut throughout.
