Golf Bag Travel Covers

December 16, 2008

Unless your golfer gives you specific instructions, giving golf clubs for a Christmas present is probably not a good idea. Golf clubs these days are so much a matter of individual taste and fit that your present is just as likely to end up in the garage as be used.

But one larger-ticket item that nearly every golfer could use is a golf club bag travel cover. I don’t just use them when I travel; my spare clubs are kept in old golf bags in my shed, and putting them in a travel bag keeps the mice, chipmunks and squirrels from moving in.

A cover like the Sun Mountain ClubGlider Meridian Travel Cover (pictured at left) or the Mizuno Staff Bag Travel Cover
may be your best be if you’re planning to travel. But a cheaper model like the TOUR TREK Stratus Travel Cover is just $40 and should work well for just sitting in a garage or shed.

In case Mrs. GolfBlogger is reading, I really need another bag cover.
