GigaGolf PowerMax GX920 Irons

January 4, 2007

Power Max GX920

The PowerMax GX 920 irons employ much of the same technology as the Callaway X-18s for a fraction of the cost.

Like the Callaways, these have a notched cavity weighting system which serves to both increase perimeter weighting and to move the weight downward. This results in better results on off center hits, and better ball trajectory on all shots. The thin face of the club, GigaGolf says, produces longer shots even at slower swing speeds. A wide sole shifts more weight to the bottom of the club, resulting in higher ball flight.

You can customize the clubs on the GigaGolf website with a variety of shafts and grips, as well as adjusting the length and lie. Like all GigGolf products, this one comes with a 30 day playability guarantee. So there’s no risk in trying.
