Fujikawa Advances To US Open Sectionals

Shooting a five under 67 at Turtle Bay’s Fazio Course on O’ahu, Tad Fujikawa will move on to a sectional in Japan. If he finishes among the top three there, he advances to the U.S. Open June 14-17 at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania.
Fujikawa made history earlier this year when he made the cut at the Sony Open, upstaging fellow Hawaiian Michelle Wie. The sixteen-year-old stands just five foot one and weights 130.
He’s also one of the most charismatic players we’ve seen in a long time. I wish him well.
