It’s the middle of October and already there’s snow in Michigan. My in-laws got ten inches of the white stuff last week and yesterday, I was out playing in temperatures that barely reached the lower forties.

It’s time to break out the winter gear.

One essential piece of golf equipment in Michigan this time of year is the fleece pullover. Here’s a nice one from Footjoy. The DryJoys Sta-Dry system makes it completely waterproof and windproof (I needed that today). It’s got a zipper down to the mid chest to make it easy to get off—or to help you moderate your temperature when you get a bit warm. And, to keep the wind from blowing up inside, it has a droptail hem with a drawcord through the pockets to allow for an elastic waistband.
