Cleveland HiBore Irons
I saw a set of these on a trip to Golf Galaxy the other day, and was intrigued by their looks. They are, in many ways, miniature versions of the HiBore driver, with their scoop backs and the hollow construction on the longer irons.
Cleveland claims thet they’re the easiest irons they’ve ever made. And just by looking at them, I can believe it. Those wide soles are goign to prevent digging, and the hollow heads give a 28% larger hitting surface than traditional irons.
This is a set that I’d really like to try out. If someone has, I’d love to hear your reactions. Just leave a comment below.

My local muni had a golf show this weekend…most of the major’s rep’s showed up, titleist, Nike, etc.
Cleveland had a table, they had a set of these irons in a golf bag, the set looked like basically an all hybrid set, all the way through the 9 iron. The clubs and heads to me seemed much lighter than a normal set of irons, maybe an advantage when swinging the clubs, I don’t know. It was too muddy and snowy to hit anything at the show, so I didn’t get to try the clubs themselves.
A whole set of hybrid-irons might take me a bit of getting used to looks wise, but if they strike the ball well, that problem would quickly pass!

I swung these at a demo day. I am intriqued. The day was very windy, so I can’t attest to distance, but they were very easy to hit. The trajectory was high. I am planning on taking a club to my course to try it in playing conditions and compare to my current irons

I bought a set of these clubs after doing some research and reading alot of reviews.I decided to go with the Graphite 3-pw set.I was not disappointed in the performance of these clubs. The trick with these clubs is to swing down and all the way through. The ball just rised into the air with ease. I love hitting the #9 iron the most.

I ordered a set of 7-SW including the gap wedge. I also have a 2 hybrid rescue and burner hybrids 3-6 so i didnt need the full set. The irons are outstanding. I’m a 6 handicap and still chose these hybrid style irons over the more traditional irons. Hybrid technology is the best thing to happen to golf!!
