  • A friend of mine recommended the book Bristling At The Rates which, I am told, can only be found on the web.  I was pleasantly surprised.

The author obviously cares greatly for the game of golf and set out to write the book to make the game enjoyable for everyone.

He has several humorous “one-liners” throughout the book that keeps it moving and won’t let you put it down.

Bristling At the Rates is a hilarious, irreverent, sarcastic and refreshing chronicle of one man’s futile study of golf’s snail’s pace.
A collection of observations on class struggles, friendship, ambition, family and arrogance, all played out on the golf course.

  • I read that book by David Joseph, it was the funniest golf book ever. I got a copy from a friend of mine.
