Amy Mickelson Has Breast Cancer; Phil Suspends Season

Sad news today. In a brief statement released Wednesday morning, Phil Mickelson revealed that wife Amy has breast cancer and that he would suspend his season immediately to help care for her.
The GolfBlogger’s prayers go out to the Mickelson family. Mrs. GolfBlogger spends a great deal of time working for various breast cancer charities both through her sorority, and through the University hospital where she works. Breast cancer has hit our family in the past, and I know that it’s tough on everyone involved.

Hope she has a fast and full recovery. Those poor kids are too young to have to deal with a sick parent.
