ADAMS Idea Tech A4 Iron Set 3H,4H, 5-PW with Steel Shafts
Adams has made its name on the backs of its relatively easy-to-hit clubs, going all the way back to the Tight Lies “upside down” fairway woods. The Idea Tech A4 irons are a set of integrated forged hybrids, with 3-5 designed as hybrids, and 6-PW designed as more conventional cavity back irons.
These irons are forged from 8620 carbon steel—making them one of the few forged, game improvement sets around. The “Quad Cavity Back” is designed to push weight to the perimeter, while a stabilizer bar puts more mass behind the point of impact. In a way, the look of these remind me of the Mizuno 950 sets. It’s a set I’d like to try.
