The mainstream golf media is all agog over the possibility that Phil Mickelson could become the sports new number one player. All he has to do is finish first, while Tiger finishes sixth or worst.
I don’t see it happening. Tiger most likely will end up sixth or worst. The larger hurdle is for Phil to finish first. He did manage to win it in 2007, but ...
