Technology has radically changed the game of golf. And nowhere has technology affected things as much as it has the golf ball. Over the years, major manufacturers such as Titleist, Maxfli, Callaway, Nike and TopFlite have applied aerodynamics and materials science to push the little orb to its limits.
Color Shifting Golf Balls

I don't know where you get these in the States or in Europe, but a Japanese company has developed golf balls that change color when exposed to sunlight. It apparently works on the same principle as those sunglasses which get darker as the light gets brighter.

Noodle Ice Golf Ball

MaxFli has added a new ball to its popular Noodle line. In addition to the Long and Soft Noodle, the Lontest Noodle, and the Softest Noodle, the line now includes the Noodle Ice.
The Noodle Ice performs like the other Noodle balls, but has a transparent cover, which reveals a colored core of lime, lemon, tangerine and raspberry.
TaylorMade says that the colors make it easier for golfers to focus on teh ball at address, and thus promotes better and more solid contact.

TaylorMade has introduced the RedMAX, a new softer ball to complement the premium BlackMAXl. The MaxFli product. Even better - the RedMAX is designed so that players don’t’ need a high swing speed to take advantage of its qualities.

Nanotech Ball To Be Released In Late 2005
A company called Nanodynamics has developed a golf ball that corrects slices and hooks by dynamically shifting its weight. Interestingly, the ball is hollow. The price is expected to be about the same as other premium balls.
I can’t wait to try these out.

Callaway Major League Logo Balls
I’m a big time baseball fan. I had a cousin who played catcher for the Senators in the 1960s, and when they moved from Washington, I switched my loyalties to the Baltimore Orioles. I’m in Michigan, now, but I’m still not quite a Tigers fan.
No matter where you are, though, you can show your loyalties with these Callaway Major League Logo Balls.
Too bad they don’t have the Senators though. (No, the Nationals aren’t the same).
