Here’s a view from the clubhouse deck as I was waiting in line for one of the unreserved playing spots. The secret to getting onto the course without a tee time is to get there well before dawn and put your bag in a line outside the pay window. As groups of less than four go out, the next person in line will be called to fill up the groups. I was in group four.
