BluScoop Putter

Zax Golf's BlueScoop Putter is one of the new breed of "inertial" putters that shift the weight back from the face and in toward the centerline. This is supposed to keep the face from twisting during the stroke, promoting a straighter putt. This one looks a lot like the Hogan putter used by Jim Furyk, right down the blue color theme, although I suppose this is related to the aluminum materials. Still, I like the look. They should send me one for a review.

Golf Ball Dowsing Rod

Here's a spooky item for Halloween. The Golffinder is a golf ball dowsing rod. You use it like those old time diviners used a switch to find water in the ground for a well. Too weird.

Play Golf At Devil’s Lake

Here's the perfect place to play on Halloween: Devil's Lake Golf Course at Manitou Beach, Michigan. For those of you not in the know, a Manitou is an evil American Indian spirit. I played here a few years ago, and found it to be a lot of fun. Built in 1929, it's typical of the older Michigan courses: 18 holes of good, basic golf for a terrific price (I played for under $20).
