Acer CB6 Putter - Custom Assembled

Acer CB6 Putter - Custom Assembled

Advertised as a cross between a blade and a mallet, Acer has designed this club to pull the weight to the out on two wings for additional moment of intertia (resistance to twisting).

It caught my eye because at first glance it looks like one of those Starship Enterprise Star Trek putters GolfSmith was selling a few years ago. The principle’s certainly the same.

  • The Entrprise has now gone out of rotation for the first time in about 3 years.  I had it extended to try a belly putter, and was doing ok, but the balance was wrong.  I did decide the belly was worth a further shot and went and got a taylormade ghost spider belly.  First round results were pretty good.

The Enterprise will go back to standard length and to the cost for a while to see how this goes
