This is the first nose trimmer I have used so I cannot compare. In reading the description I had a hard time finding that it runs on 1 AA battery. I was first looking for a rechargeable or plug-in but this works great because it is used so little. I was very happy it does not pull any hair. It works great, is well constructed, is lightweight, and is very easy to use. This far exceeded my expectations. I wish I would have bought it long ago. I would buy it again.
In addition, I disagree with some other reviews. I do not have to use it on a daily basis but just every few days to a week as I wish. I find it quiet, not loud. I find it very well built and it runs well with weak batteries. I do not find it too big or bulky.

This is a great little trimmer. It's not that cheap plastic type. This is actually quite sturdy. It also has a rotating head which is the ONLY kind to get. The rest are junk. We love ours! Thanks!

I had a Panasonic trimmer which was cheaply constructed. It was painful to use this since it pulled the hair everytime. So I stopped using it for few months and after that, it stopped working. Junk! I looked at this Mangroomer for several months on and off, but did not bother to buy it. But finally I purchased this item with other item so I can get free shipping. This item is realy good. As other reviewer mentioned, you might have to use it more often but at least it does not pull hair. I am very satisfied with this item.

I was in need of a new trimmer, and had in the past been underwhelmed by battery-powered models. I saw this trimmer and decided I'd give it a shot, and I have to say I'm impressed. It trimmed like one would expect it to, and it doesn't have issues with losing power and not cutting well. It may not be flashy or have a lot of bells and whistles, but if you are looking for a trimmer that does a good, dependable job, this one fits the bill.

this nose trimmer is straight away better than the others ive had cause it actually gets all the jhairs in the front and back of nostrils. it has strong power that is good so it wont pull like others ive had. recommended
