5 out of 5 stars Happy with purchase   December 28, 2007

I am so pleased with this purchase. My 5 year old grandson loves it and it is just the right size for him to use. It is low to the floor so if he falls, he won't hurt himself and the size is great as he can use it indoors or out. It was very easy to assemble and we did it immediately upon him opening it so he could use it right away.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product and Value   December 19, 2007

I use this minitrampoline for cardio exercise (jogging in place) when the outside temperature, or my knees, tell me not to run.

This is my second mini-trampoline. The first one used springs instead of the elastic bands. The spring design sucked. I trained for a marathon and put many hours on it. I decided it was unsafe to use after the 4th spring broke (from fatigue or friction - probably a combination of both). I bought replacement springs and discovered one needs a special tool or superhuman strength to put them on.

That's when I discovered the design was changed to incorporate bands, replacing the springs. Much better. I happily purchased the newly designed unit for which this review is written. I have put many many hours on this new "band" unit and so far no problems.

5 out of 5 stars Safe for active child   November 29, 2007

I bought this product because it has no springs and great padding for my active daughter. She bounces on it for hours! It wasn't as hard to put together as I thought. The book suggested 3 people, we did it in 10 minutes total with 2 people.

3 out of 5 stars wobbly   September 27, 2007

I bought this for my 2 year old son. When it arrived I put it together myself. I could have probably waited and got some help. Is very hard to put together. I ordered it because it didn't have springs. I would NEVER disassemble to store. Way to hard to put together and it looked even worse to take apart. Every time I lay it flat for him to jump on I have to get on it to flatten it, and it still seems a little wobbly and uneven. Maybe I put it together wrong!! Otherwise it is great. Has a nice spring to it!

4 out of 5 stars Solid, great value, bit of a challenge to assemble   September 14, 2007

If you want a mini-trampoline, I can recommend this one. It is built like a battleship, but assembly is non-trivial -- you need at least two adults (the instructions recommend three) to fight against the tension to pop everything in place. No big deal, but you are not going to put this together by yourself -- you can hurt yourself if something pops back due to the high tensions involved. The instruction book could use larger and clearer pictures. The legs screw on, and one of the legs in mine was slightly out-of-round, making for some stiff turning, but I got it on. There is an 800 number to call the manufacturer for any problems. I didn't need to call. We like this mini-trampoline.
