Cheap and toxic September 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First did not work at all, and the second has a broken seal. They both have warnings on them to wash hands after use due to lead contamination...so much for giving them to the kids!
NOT heavy duty, broke the first time I used it. September 23, 2008 I had misgivings as soon as I removed this flashlight from it's packaging. It has a thin gauge aluminum case that could easily be dented or torn. When I first powered up this flashlight, I was impressed by the diffused bright light. It lit up close by objects, but offered no illumination for objects more than 10 feet away. My biggest complaint is the reliability. I dropped it once. It stopped working. I am pretty handy with my hands, but I was unable to get the flashlight to light up again.
LED Compact Flashlight September 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These 2 flashlites I bought for our trip to Alaska have worked great. Bright light sure helps in the darkness to see your way. Cool blue color, too. Sturdy construction and small enough to tuck into a corner of our travel bags we use on trips and store for emergency use if needed.
Such a bright little light!! September 18, 2008 This little light really packs a punch for its size. I need to order more!
Compact Aluminum Flashlight September 11, 2008 Don't know why these are considered to be heavy duty. They seem pretty fragile. Purchased 2 - one works great, one didn't. Can't return it so a bit disappointing. However, if both had worked, I'd be satisfied with the product.
