3 out of 5 stars Double check your bike first   June 20, 2008

I needed an extra seat for my almost 2 year old child. I loved the idea of this seat. I do have some complaints about it. Like anything else, videos that are provided about the product always seem easy in use. However, when I have received the item the 1st thing I notices is it would not fit on my mountain bike front mount. I made it fit, but the brackets on the Weeride were not designed for a wide neck of a bike. Pay attention on the bikes in the pictures. Second complaint I had is my child only 27lbs and I had troubles buckeling him around his legs. It was very tight. The front buckel kept snapping out of the oepning in the seat. Sort of unsafe. And the last problem with Weeride is that the feet rests were in the way of shocks on my bike. So, if you have a simple bike like on the pictures, it might be great fit, but mine is mountain bike with suspentions that just was a wrong fit.
Overall, it is a great seat if your child is tiny and it definately will not accomodate a child 30 or 40 lbs as it describes.
Try it, I guess.

5 out of 5 stars A real head turner!   June 19, 2008

This is a genius invention.. its heard to believe that it took so long to come up with! My 2 1/2 year old Allyson absolutely LOVES going for bike rides in this seat, in fact when the ride is over and mommy and daddy want to go back in the house.. she wants more! Also you will feel like you're driving a fancy car down the street when you see the people turn their heads as you ride down the street! Great job WeeRider!!

5 out of 5 stars front child seat   June 18, 2008
My child loved this seat. She can see everything that I see. I started her in it when she was 9 months old. She is now 18 months and is getting a little to big for it. I think I can squeez another 3-4 months out of it. Highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Wee Ride Together!   June 11, 2008
Very simple and easy to install. My husband had it on and ready to go without a lot of complaining. It's sturdy and well built and we love that the child rides in the front.

Our son is about 2-1/2, so he's not going to be using this that much longer--he's not that heavy, but he's getting a little too tall for it already (the space for the feet are only so big). Wish we got it months ago. He has so much fun on it and gets all excited when Daddy says "Let's go for a bike ride!" I would highly recommend getting this for a younger child to really get some use out of it.

4 out of 5 stars wee ride   June 6, 2008
my child loves this bike carrier! wasnt too happy about wearing a helmet. it was easy to install, the bike it is attached should have longer tubing under the seat so as not to attach to the actual adjustable tubing of the seat. otherwise you have to remove or loosen, each time the seat needs adjustment.
very simple to get child in & out. the straps however are as short as possible right now, and are not as snug as i would prefer. if your child is small the belt straps are adjustable, but cannot go to be small enough for a child of ~20 lbs or so.
