Inversion table April 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found the quality of this product to be very good, and assembly was a snap. The included DVD provided all the information I needed to get started and was quite informative. I am still getting used to the ankle clamps. I find that 15 minutes is about my limit at this time.

I have lower back pain once in a while and this seems to help me stretch it out in a way couldn't before. My father in law has a compressed spine and he loves using the inversion table which prompt me to buy this one. It really does undo the works of gravity.
Teeter Hang Ups EP-850 Flex Technology Inversion Table April 8, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I purchased the new model a few months ago from HSN because I couldn't find the newer model on the Teeter web site. I just happened to be channel surfing and saw the newer model on HSN with Roger Teeter doing the demo. It was easy to set up and adjust. I like this model better because it has the flexible backing and improved ankle clamps. I had a bulging disk and some degeneration. I was doing traction at the chiropractor every other day for months. It helped but didn't completely heal me. Once I got on the inversion table I saw improvement the first day. I was using it 3-4 times a day for a few weeks because the improvement was so dramatic, and I enjoyed using it. Actually, after a few days the pain was pretty much gone. I just helped lay 1000 sq/feet of wood flooring in my house for 4 days and only had minor pain which was gone the fifth day. If you have ever been bent over for 4 days working on wood floors you know how bad this can be for someone with a bulging disk. I hang fully inverted for only 3-5 minutes at a time. Once I get fully inverted, I twist to the left and right a few times, and even do ten sit ups to help build the stomach muscles to better support the back. I still use it today at least twice a day just to maintain. I use it once in the morning before the commute and once before bed. I would recommend this to anyone with lower back pain. I have no complaints what so ever.
OK for lower back pain-other benefits amazed me-migraines and sweet babies February 23, 2008 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I bought it for low back pain-somewhat helpful for this issue, but not as great as I had hoped. Works really well for neck issues. My first surprise benefit was a cure to my migraines I had suffered with for years-I guess it is due to the increased blood flow to head. After several years of inverting as soon as I felt a migraine coming on (the migraine would then go away), I now don't even get them in the first place. Other unexpected benefit-fertility. I was having trouble getting pregnant at age 40 (had been trying for a year and was getting ready to start down the obstetric path) when the inversion board arrived. I got pregnant that month. I got pregnant two more times over the next 4 years, each time after trying only a couple of months. I completely believe this fertility was due to the inversion board and the laws of gravity. I would invert several times a day. Anecdoctal evidence, but even in my early 30s, it had taken me 6 or 7 months to get pregnant without the inversion board, so I have to believe my experience was more than luck.
Works Great! February 22, 2008 I had a small back injury that never seemed to completely heal up. Later on, when I aggravated the injury pretty bad, I broke down and bought my Teeter Hangup. After a week of using it 1 to 2 minutes a day, I had no more back pain. Period. It's like I never hurt my back. And occasionally, I will start to feel my back hurting again, and I jump on my Teeter Hangup, and in no time, I'm good as new. I recommend this item to someone that is 230-220 lbs or less, and is athletic to somewhat of a couch potato. Hanging upside down from your ankles takes some getting used to. About a week, but the benefits are excellent. It's great to treat back pain without a doctor and/or medication.
