Now this is what I call a belt! December 7, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The company's shipping is fast and safe. The belt is exactly as described, if not better. It's well made from sturdy and thick, beautifully tanned and finished leather, and should last me for many years. Perfect for my work needs.
Truly an excellent belt. July 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't buy this belt expecting it to fit dress pant loops, and make sure you order the right size the first time. This is a *real* belt, with real thickness. The buckle is just as large and bulky as it looks. This belt is for a pair of jeans or work pants that have to stay up no matter what. Surprisingly easy to put on despite being somewhat less flexible, there is no problem wearing it. I can fully believe this belt will be with me years from now. An added benefit; the buckle must be aluminum or something, because it made it through an airport sensor with no problem. Indestructible Belt
The best quality belt that I have ever owned June 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have several of these belts already. I haved used and abused them for about six years. I could not remember or find where I had bought them. I could guess that the logo was "Marc Wolf Ltd" on one of them and after an Amazon search there they were. I bought two new belts just because I found them. My others are still in great shape and I am happy to be able to buy such a high quality AMERICAN MADE product. I have never had a belt hold up so well. I am a large guy and give these a lot of stress. They hold up, and keep looking good for years. BUY THEM!
Great Belt April 5, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a very heavy, good quality single layer (not two layers sewed together) leather belt. Branded "Marc Wolf LTD", "Made In America" and "Top Grain Cowhide" on the inside. The finish on the leather and the buckle was good with no defects, nicks, or burrs. A couple of notes to help you buy. Size: The size of the belt seems to be to the center of five belt holes. The five holes span 3 1/2 inches total, so you should be able to go about 1 3/4 inches larger or smaller than the size you ordered. Extra holes: To make extra holes a hand held leather punch will work fine. If you are comfortable with power tools you can also drill new holes as needed. Place the belt (finished side down) on a chunk of scrap wood, drill from the back (unfinished inside) side of the belt for best results. Have a friend help you as the leather will try to lift when the drill bit goes through. I had to do this as I ordered 2 inches bigger than I measured just to be safe. I am very happy with this product.
