If you are looking for a cheap, functional phone cover this one should be fine. The silicon case and cover fit well-- and you can't beat the price! However, compared to the other iphone cases I have seen, this one looks cheap. But it works!
 Not a good long-term buy September 18, 2008
I bought this case (black diamond version) when I got my iphone 3g. At the time, I was really happy with the purchase. It was low cost, fit well, the grip was good, and easy to put on. But now that I've had it for over a month, I have to say I regret the purchase. I thought I was getting a great deal for the price. I even recommended it to my friends. Unfortunately, it is now much looser than when I first put it on. When I go to reach for the phone from my purse, half the time, the case shifts around the iphone when I try to grip it. The bottom and top edges are especially lose since they are thinner to provide slots for the cords and headphones. I will be going to the Apple store to buy a legit case which will last longer. Now I wish I had just done that in the first place.

The cover is cheaply made and ill-fitting. It does not stay of the phone well and provides little to no protection to the phone. If you want to protect the phone, buy a hard case.
Nice case, but be careful with buttons September 10, 2008
This is a great little silicone case that feels good in the hand. However, I recently upgraded to an Incase Slider, and when I removed this silicone case, the volume button came off with it. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my phone, or if the case somehow stuck to the button. Thankfully, I'm still under warranty for the phone.

UPDATE: I can't recommend this case at all anymore. It looks like dust will make it's way into the case and rub against the iphone. The metal trim and plastic back will eventually become marred and dull.
Not the quality that I expected, more like something you would fine at a cell phone accessory cart at the mall. You can tell it was made from a mold very cheaply. I use it just to protect the iPhone from getting scratches on the plastic backing. It will collect pocket lint and dust but at least the case itself is easy to remove from the phone unlike other cases.
