Better than the Nike, Better than the Belkin!August 30, 2008 Initially, I purchased the Nike+ (plus) armband. I thought it was really nice looking and would be the best I could buy. Well, it was small and when I ran, the sweat would get inside the plastic sleeve and fog up the inside of my Nano. I threw that in the trash and bought this little guy. It is really nice. Not the best looking. But it is the very best quality and it performs the best. My 12 y/o daughter can wear it and I can too. She is really thin and I'm not a huge guy. But I am 6'2" and 210lbs. and the band still has a way to go before it is out of material. I will definitely buy another before I head off to Iraq again...
Also, I actually received emails from a "live" employee of Grantwood Tech. Not an auto generated email from a large company. Help keep the small guys in business!
great product for jogging/walkingAugust 19, 2008 I bought this item due to the great price and customer reviews. The armband and the "Podcast for Runners" program keep me motivated to jog/walk. I used to carry my Nano in hand and noticed that swinging my arms while walking created static sounds that interfered with my music/podcasts. No more! The armband keeps my Nano secure, comfortable, and static-free.
BCCMMC3August 17, 2008 Have used this for over a month now with my ipod nano..... great fit, very comfortable. Works beautifully with my Nike+ as well. Highly recommend! Lightweight, no extra bulk. Important when working out in this hot, humid weather.
Great ArmbandAugust 13, 2008 I have been using the Grantwood armband for about two weeks and over 50 miles of running. I have no complaints. Once you put the Ipod in the silicon you can leave it there indefinitely. If you need to sync or charge, you can just plug the cable in. I was using a neoprene case, but in the deep south we sweat a lot during the summer. Other materials soak up the sweat and transfer it to the Ipod. Not this. I did read some reviews that said the armband was too small. I have average arms find the band very comfortable. I rarely notice it there. If you do happen to have huge arms it is easy to put a different strap with the silicone cover. The cover is worth the price alone.
