Does the job but not perfect March 29, 2008 This case holds the iPod firmly on place as long as you have the Nike+iPod reciever in place. The plastic cover over the iPod controls makes it extremely difficult to navigate menus while on the move. The headphone cable Velcro holder works well to keep extra cable out of the way.
Perfect for the job March 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
All of the reviews seem to be on target. Yes, you do sweat a little on you ipod, if you don't like that, don't run with it. The strap is a bit flimsy, but I don't have 24" biceps, so it doesn't bother me. Yes, the touchscreen doesn't work as well through the plastic, but it works. Nothing is perfect, but this gets the job done for me, I would buy it again for sure. Also, it has holes in the corners conveniently for plugging in headphones and turning the hold on and off. I like this product a lot.
Hard Time working the clickwheel... March 9, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The vinyl window tends to arc away from my ipod, which makes it very difficult to control the clickwheel. On my last run, I tried to get my powersong on and actually stopped my workout by accident. Luckily, I was able to resume the workout, but I actually had to stop running to fiddle with my ipod. Unfortunately, I have had some sort of issue on EVERY run. I am currently looking for a different brand of armband, as I am not very happy with this one. My recommendation: BUY SOMETHING ELSE.
Not bad March 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It fits well and I like the little velcro cord controller. I've run with it twice now, and taken it to the gym on a couple other occassions. I find it comfortable and it does what it advertises. However, I do have two concerns with it. First, the area where the iPod goes doesn't breathe at all, so it's all moist in there which may not be bad for the iPod, but it can't be good. Second, it's really tricky to control the iPod when it's in the holder -- some armbands are designed to give you reasonably good access to the controls, but this isn't one of them. Anything more sophisticated than hitting the center button or forward song is tricky.
tune belt March 8, 2008 I searched for a while to find a belt for my nano that would fit the nike adaptor. the tune belt was the one I finally settled on b/c the connection point was not exposed. I've ran with it for many miles now and the quality of the velcro as well as the durability of the material is very good. It's also very light weight. I am very pleased with the product!!
