I am a PE teacher and coach, and have just recently purchased the Nike+ armband and nano. I am not a fan of any of the Nike shoes that house this product, so I went searching for a solution. I am SO GLAD I stumbled upon this product. I ordered 2 of them and they are perfect. I would order 2 though, and not just one. I have one on 2 of my favorite running shoes so I can just grab 'em and go! The reason for my review though, is not only for the greatness of the product. The customer service provided by Grantwood is amazing. They email you immediately confirming your order. It is an actual person, not a computer generated one! They thank you for your order, they update you on shipping status and even followed up to make sure I was happy with it and received it okay. What other company does that? Not many! If you are thinking about a solution for the Ipod running system...ABSOLUTELY get this..it's worth it! I'd give them more than 5 stars if possible! ;-)
Great product August 22, 2008
I just recently got an ipod nano just so I could use the nike + ipod system with it, but I also just bought a pair of new running shoes, and they're not the Nike + kind. I figured I'd wait a year or so until I needed new shoes and then get the Nike + ones, but then I found out about this. I ordered it and it arrived really quickly, and the company was really great about communicating with me about the status of my order.
I laced it onto my shoes right away and went to a track to calibrate the Nike + sensor. Then I ran a route that I already know the distance of, and it was very accurate. Since then, I've gone running on some trails with mile markers and the sensor has been completely accurate so far.
I also bought the armband made by the same company and it's wonderful as well.
Overall, this is a wonderful product and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to buy the Nike + shoes but still wants to use the product.

I was recommended this by a friend, and have already told other friends about it. I alternate running shoes, so I bought 2 - one for each pair. I found that lacing it in upside-down (logo underneath) made it easier to pop the sensor in and out when I change running shoes. The velcro is very sturdy, and the pouch 'hugs' the sensor...so I feel very secure that it won't fall out.

This shoe pouch has changed the obligation in buying a new Nike shoe! Your probably wondering if this pouch will really work. That it could be a scam? I was in the same position of thought as that. Of course, I tried my luck and actually bought this pouch. I was extremely pleased that I could finally use my wonderful Brooks shoes with the amazing Nike+ System. Runners World, a prestigious running magazine, has even advertised this product in full support! Overall, this product is a must-buy if you do not want to buy Nike+ Shoes.
Shoe Pouch August 10, 2008
I recently decided to buy the Nike+ system and wanted to keep my Asics. I am thrilled, that this shoe pouch, allows me to have my favorite shoes and still use the Nike+ system. It's easy to use, it stays in place and most importantly it doesn't interfere with my runs! I love it and would definitely purchase it again!
