The construction of the pouch is very good and makes a lot of sense. It's very well made. The eyelets to string your shoelaces through on each of the corners creates a very flush/tight fit against your shoe and decreases significantly from any sway while you run, which without such a good fit, could impact the sensor. Running both outside along established trails as well as indoors on a treadmill, I am getting accurate readings so the pouch isn't a factor at all. Great value for something that completely solves the problem of having to buy Nike brand shoes, which most serious runners I've come across do not prefer.

Since I didn't want to go out and buy a pair of Nike running shoes this pouch was/is perfect. My husband and I both have had ours for 2 weeks and I liked it so much I just bought one for a friend (she's going to buy the Nike+Ipod kit).
I don't think that the sensor would flip over in the pouch...it's a snug/perfect fit.
Also, I ran on a measured track as well and the pouch didn't change my mileage.

This one is WAY better than version 1. I had some problems with version one, it had neoprene loops, so the manufacturer contacted me and suggested that I try version 2 instead. The improvements included non-stretchy attachment loops and a velcro flap on the back to prevent the sensor from sliding around or falling out when not in use. These refinements actually help it with accuracy as well, as it is held in place much tighter.
5 stars for quality, service, price and customer support.

Does what its supposed to. It sensor doesn't act any differently than it did when it was tucked in my laces, except it doesn't fall out.

This shoe pouch allows me to use my Nike+ipod transmitter with ANY brand of athletic shoe. Using it really is as easy as relacing your gym shoes. The transmitter stays nice and secure and I have had no problems with it whatsoever.
