Great alternative to thread and glue. August 15, 2007 I don't wear Nikes but have had the Ipod/Nike kit for a year and use it religiously. Originally I sewed a piece of velcro on the tongue of my shoe, then glued a piece of velcro on the transmitter, attaching it under the laces. When I purchased new shoes, I couldn't find a thread/needle, so I STAPLED the velcro onto the tongue and then attached the transmitter under the laces...needless to say, the purchase of the $6.95 shoe pouch was well worth the agony of stapling and gluing my shoes and checking every mile or two to make sure that the transmitter was still there. Some would consider me cheap for not buying the manufactured product, I consider myself creative...The shoe pouch, however, is one item I should have bought a long time ago. (This is not saying that someone with a few more materials readily available could not create this on their own!)
Must-have for runners August 10, 2007 This is the best product for the nike+ipod chip. I use it nearly everyday and it has not fallen out and stays securely in place for even the long runs.
Works great!! August 9, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this pouch. It works great with my Nike+. I ordered two so I have for both pairs of running shoes - not easy to change between shoes once it is on. I like the looks and havent had any issues with it for over 100 miles of use.
Shoe Pouch Nike + August 5, 2007 Works as advertised for those who want to run in other makes and make use of the ipod nano and Nike combination.
Shoe Pouch - Wonderful! August 2, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received my Shoe Pouch a little over a week ago and I LOVE IT! It is amazing how much of a difference it made. I never realized how bulky and heavy (relative) the wallet was. I had my distance run today and it was nice not having to check every once in a while to make sure it wasn't loose.
One thing; I had to re-calibrate the sensor because I realized that after moving to the pouch I wasn't getting an accurate reading. But ever since it has been on the money. I ran a 5k and it was dead on. When my sensor was in the wallet it would always be just a tad short on the distance.
Thanks again! Come up with a useable armband for the Nano with the receiver and I will be first in line to purchase. But for now I need to purchase 2 more pouches for my other running shoes.
