I really liked my shoe pouch. I joined nike+ service more than a year ago when it came out, i really liked it and it got me interested and having fun with the challenges however i had to go buy some very expensive nike+ shoes that i didnt like just to have the sensor work well with my ipod.
Since i am a marathon runner I wanted to get more technical shoes for professional runners and i got some Asics Nimbus 9 with my shoe pouch and it worked great! I really like it and i can wear the shoes that i like instead of being tied to some nike's.
I also wear my nike clothes thou, which i love for other sports apparel but not shoes.
Great pouch i recommend it as well as the nike+ service.

I've bought two of these now - one for myself and another for a family member - and have been using a Shoe Pouch for nearly a year. They're an excellent product - inexpensive and functional. The Shoe Pouch allows you to use a Nike+ sensor without purchasing specially adapted Nike+ running shoes (you may not want to run in Nike shoes anyway) saving you quite a lot of money. The data recording is accurate to within a few percentage points provided the pouch is properly fastened. I've heard people complain that this method of attaching the sensor produces inaccurate results but I have not found this myself. Highly recommended.

This shoe pouch works perfectly. It fits the nike chip really well, and even has velcro on the back to make sure it stays shut. The one thing I don't like is that I have to unlace my shoes to put it on and off. I'd like to alternate running shoes during training so my shoes don't get worn out so quickly, but it seems like too much work to change the chip every time. My solution was to buy two pouches and two nike chips. Not very economical I suppose, but it keeps me from having to unlace my shoes before every run.
Works great! Now I can use Nike+ with the shoes I already have! June 9, 2008
I have used this for a month and it works fine. I ordered it on a Thursday and it was at my door by the next Monday.

This pouch made it so that I could use the Nike+ sport kit with my ipod. It fits the sensor perfectly snug and laces right onto your shoe. I haven't had any problems with calibration or recording runs at all whatsoever. I also like that you can purchase it in different colors. I sold a few friends on this pouch, as many people I know can not wear Nike shoes. I also purchased a matching nano armband. The shipping from this company is very quick, and I just love their products. Thank you for making these! :)
