4 out of 5 stars Be careful about size of coffee grind   July 17, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

I received one of these as a gift and loved it and used it every day (I am the only coffee drinker in the house). Then I bought some bulk coffee and ground it myself and tried that. It kept getting grinds out of the filter and into the water reservoir and I kept having to clean it. Finally after three months it just died. They sent me a new one (after $7 shipping and handling) and this one is doing the same thing. Now I am almost convinced it is a problem with the grind of the coffee itself (the instructions do not specify which to use). I used an auto drip grind but perhaps that is too fine. Before I was buying pre-ground coffee and had no trouble as long as I did not add more than the 2.5 Tablespoons that the instructions specify. If I added more by accident or did not measure carefully, I had trouble even with the pre-ground. So if you like your coffee strong, I suppose you may want to reconsider this coffeemaker.

5 out of 5 stars I like to Brew 'n Go   July 14, 2008
I bought this little coffee maker to use when I am at Mom's house (previously had to use instant there). I tried it out today and it was so convenient for running around town in the car and the coffee tasted so good that I plan to get a second one for my own home - so that I can always have that fresh-brewed cup of coffee to go! It may even replace my 12-cup coffee maker as the coffee seems to taste better this way.

5 out of 5 stars A lifesaver   July 14, 2008

I'm a single parent so this device works great for me. I am a 1 cup a day drinker. It is small and doesn't take up very much counter space. I love it and haven't had any problems at all.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing!!   July 8, 2008
I bought this a month ago and it works great!!
I not only use it to make coffee, but also to make hot water for things like tea.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for my use   June 30, 2008
I have switched to decaf coffee and, because I really don't need the kick of caffeine, I only drink one cup each morning. I like to sip a cup while I'm reading the morning newspaper and my one cup "brew and go" suites my needs perfectly.

I was going to use paper filters like I did with my old coffee maker but couldn't find #1 filters. I didn't look very hard though and just decided to use the screen filter that came with the "brew and go." Thus, it saves me some money.
