 Great car GPS! March 8, 2007
I have been using this GPS for over a year now and am VERY pleased with it's performance, routing, mapping and entire feature set. The display is bright, easy to read and the sound directions work great. The touch screen with Remote Control make it very easy to program. I upgraded the mapping software and that went flawlessly. I also updated the Internal ROM software via the computer and that was very easy to do.

I love this thing. It works great and keeps me from getting lost, which I used to do on a regualy basis. If you travel a lot, you need this. P Holland

The cigarette lighter adapter (with speaker) is really bad quality, the original one worn out within 1 year, I purchased a new adapter and worn out within 6 month. Garmin need to do better.

I am thoroughly enjoying my my new GPS. It is much faster to calculate and recalculate. My purchase date entitled me to a free upgrade to City Navigator v8.0. I got a 2Gb chip and loaded all of North America, so I am set to go anywhere!
We had a Street Pilot III before. I refused to use it, but I like the 2610.
