I got this as birthday gift for my husband fully expecting he may choose to trade up to one of the more expensive models, but after reading the reviews and doing my research, I felt this was a great choice for the money. He then did more research after receiving his gift and decided to try it out. The result - it's a winner. He loves the small size and it does everything he wanted it to do. The only thing its missing is the cool graphics some models have, but he said that's really not important - especially because the small sizing makes it so convenient.

Love my "iGolf" now!!
First the bad news. They are very secretive with the fact that the set-up for this is not, and I repeat not able to work with Macintosh computers! So you must go out and find "PC computer people" to download golf courses and get started.
Once everything is started, this is a wonderful little GPS for golf. I love its size, ease of overall use, and long battery time.
I highly recommend this to everyone, but MAC users beware.
Great unit July 31, 2008
Works great. very intuitive. I havent used the download course feature,so i cant comment. I mapped the course myself, very easy to do. Large font, easy to read and you cant beat the price. Nice and small, fits nicely in your pocket. Very satisfied, would make the same purchase again.

This little gadget works perfectly. A one year membership gets you 100 course downloads....and they never expire. If you find that your favorite golf course isn't mapped, you can do it yourself or request that Igolf does it for you (one per year). I put in my request for a small local course on Monday, and it was done by Wednesday! Their course library is very thorough. Of the 45 courses I looked up, only one had not been mapped.
DO NOT USE THE BELT CRADLE! There's a good chance you'll loose the unit if you do. Just put it in your pocket. It's so small and light that it's not a problem.

I got a I golf Neo gps rangefinder for fathers day. I find it easy to use and to be very accurate. It is easy to download courses for the internet and to transfer to the unit. Visibility on course very good. For the price I wouldn't have anything else.
