Works Just Fine in My Xacti CG6 April 21, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
There isn't much to say about an SD card. Either it works or it doesn't. This one works just fine for me in my Sanyo Xacti CG6 hybrid video/digicam. No problems for me. I should note that the CG6 is NOT an HD resolution camera - 640 x 480 only. One point to keep in mind, and I knew this before I bought it but didn't think about it until after, is that these high capacity (>2mb) SD cards are not readable using older card readers. I can't use it in my portable card reader or in the built-in card reader on my 3 year old computer. I must connect the camera to a USB port in order to copy files from this card to my computer.
Memory for Dummies April 20, 2008 4 out of 10 found this review helpful
- It's big (8Gb, that's more pictures you would have taken in a lifetime of film). - It's fast (you can make HD movies with it). - It's cheap (32 bucks, how much is your camera?) - It works (duh), ==> So buy it, Dummy. I bought it too.
Great item, perfect purchase! April 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
At first I had few problems to write to it, but once I put it int the camera I was able to format and it was fine after that.
card works great! April 19, 2008 I was a little worried that this card might not work with my card reader, since it appears to be a newer standard, but it works fine. My card reader is a "Kingston TraveLite SD/MMC reader". I use this card with my Nikon D40 camera. I can't speak to any speed issues, but it seems fine to me.
