excellent product which does exactly as it claims October 31, 2008 It allows you to mount your Garmin product without either the need to glue a disk to your dash or to constantly need to fiddle with and worry about the suction cup which attaches to your windshield (but all to often falls because a lack of care, a bump or even a slightly cool windshield).
Garmin Dashboard Beanbag is the BEST!!! October 31, 2008 So happy we decided to try this, we heard from so many people with window mounted GPS that it was their only complaint. This is amazing! Better than we even thought it could be. Easy to move from one vehicle to the next, easy to hided down below when you must exit the auto, out of driving vision but right where you need to see it! We LOVE it and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to everyone!!!
Good Non-Destructive Mount October 31, 2008 Despite Amazon needing to be prompted to send it to me. I had to call them, they apperantly "forgot" to include it in my order.
The Mount works well, it holds my Nuvi right where I want it, and comes off the dash easily to be out of site in a parking lot, etc. Does not slip around too much on the dash. Also good for slipping papers or envelopes underneath to hold them in a pinch.
Excellent product. October 31, 2008 Works great. A little heavy and a little over-priced, but does what it's supposed to do. Very satisfied.
It works October 30, 2008 I prefer this device over suction cups, it sits nicely on the dash and it hasn't budged when I took a sharp right turn. I heard that thieves look for the little circles a suction cup can leave on your windshield - then they know you have a GPS or radar detector or some goody - making it worth their investment to break into your car. Probably an urban legend. But in the meantime....
