this bike rack is fairly easy to use. doesn't weigh much and stores flat.

This rack definitely can't handle 3 bikes. We have 2 mountain bikes and could not have added a third bike to the rack. Also watch out for potential scratches when mounting the rack. But it has been pretty sturdy and the bikes do not seem to move around a lot when driving. All in value not a bad rack for the price.

This overall is a great bike rack but I did notice when I placed more than one bike on the rack the bottom two straps tend to work loose. But it still seemed really secure even with the two bottom straps loose. I have just made it a habit that whenever I stop I check the straps. I have not noticed this problem with only one bike on it. I would totally recommend this product, for the price it is great! This rack is ready to go out of the box and really easy to install by yourself. I have a Honda Civic coupe and it fits great. I have not tried to place 3 bikes on this rack but i do see how it would be a tight fit.

With its six straps the rack does not move. Although rated for three bikes, it is very tight. Lost some paint due to rubbing, so I am planning to pick up some pipe insulation for padding. The rubber straps did not come in the box but the helpful tech support sent a set right away. A roof or hitch rack would be better, but much more expensive. I felt safe with my new bikes on this.
