 Highland car carrier is Excellent for Highlander! August 10, 2008
We bought the Highland car top carrier for a 400 mile beach trip this summer, for use on our Toyota Highlander. It fit perfectly and secured firmly to the OEM roof rack. The fact that the zipper runs down the side AND across the rear made loading it with suitcases, coolers, and chairs very easy. We hit rainstorms several times during the trip and had no issues with water getting inside. Although the strap ends will flutter in the wind, another reviewer stated that you could pin them together with safety pins to stop the noise. That tip worked great. The Highland carrier is well built and is a bargain for the money. Easy to fold up and store too. Glad I bought it!
Great Carrier August 10, 2008
This carrier is way better than expected.and the price is unbeatable. We use it on a small trailer and pull it behind our GoldWing. Everything stays bone dry. Holds a nice shape,And the heavy material keeps flapping well under control.I highly recomend this carrier to anyone looking to go long distance traveling.WalMart bins fit inside perfect for easy packing.
Worked Great! August 9, 2008
This product worked great! We went to the beach in a medium size car with 3 kids and 2 adults so needed more space for our equipment. This was the answer to our problem.
Since the two adults are Mother and Daughter; you can see it was easy to put on top of the car securely with very little muscle required. We think this was an excellent purchase and arrived to our home in two days.

We hooked it up to the roof rack and went to tighten it down and one of the straps broke off. I got some strong quilting thread and a needle and sewed it back on. I hope that it will stay.

We had a 13 hour drive and hit some moderate rain on our way up. Nothing inside got wet, so that was good. Like other reviewers have said it would be nice if the bag zipped/un-zipped on three sides instead of two, but for the price you really can't complain. The bag did hold a ton of stuff which was great. I would recommend this product.
