Great Item...Except... March 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a really good product offered by Amazon at a terrific price. Plenty of space and unlike so many others it can actually be used with both PCs and Macs with no problem in switching between the two systems. My only issue is that this flash drive, as I am seeing as is the case with many other newly produced flash drives is that they lack the lanyard. In my opinion, a lanyard is necessary to prevent the loss of the flash drive. I think manufacturers are doing their customers a tremendous disservice with this financially driven product omission.
Amazingly Cheap March 9, 2008 This baby works absolutely great. Small, very inexpensive and holds loads of stuff on it. Highly recommended.

Cheap and bad March 8, 2008 This product does not work correctly. If the data size is less than 1MB, it works OK. Otherwise it will get lost and stop. The computer shows something like this: "Item not found. This is no longer located in C:\... Verify the item's location and try again..." Try again would not solve the problem. Then after this, the files in this drive all disappear! However, after the drive is removed and plugged back in, the old files are still there but the new files are not. I did test this drive on seven computers with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. I trusted Kingston's products before I bought this drive. Now, ... you know!
Slow but cheap March 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The write speed for this drive is atrociously slow. On a USB2 interface it takes more than 2 minutes to copy 25MB to the drive. Read speed is fast, but when it takes that long to copy, it's hard to overlook. But, it was $20--a deal I still wouldn't pass up.
