5 out of 5 stars Can't live without these!   March 5, 2008
I got a pair of these for myself, and then gave a pair to each member of my family for Christmas! They are awesome, and perfect for our unpredictable Missouri weather!

1 out of 5 stars Very Good Product   March 1, 2008

I recently purchased a pair of Yaktrax for my husband as a Valentine's Day gift. He has been very pleased with them. He has worn them each time we have had a storm (almost daily, it seems) and he has found that they do provide good traction in snow and some traction on ice. Nothing really seems to work on ice.
Because of his enthusiasm I have purchased a pair of these for my use and have been very satisfied with them.
I would recommend them highly.

5 out of 5 stars YAKTRAX Pro Ice Grips - Nikki's Mom Loves 'Em   February 9, 2008
I bought these for my mom (who is an avid walker) after she complained that her other YakTrax (not the Pro) kept falling off while she walked. She was unable to find the YakTrax Pro in any stores - but I was able to find them here with no problem & at a comparable price.
Although the shipping took 2 days longer than what I paid for, the product exceeded expectations - which is the most important thing.
She is extremely pleased with the product, and it has made walking during the winter (here in New England) much safer for her.
And when mama's happy, were ALL happy.

5 out of 5 stars Works great, but be careful!   February 8, 2008
These things work just great on things like a glazed driveway. But be careful to take them off before going inside to a linoleum or marble floor (or any other hard, glossy floor) as you have NO traction.

They go on well and stay put. Recommended.

1 out of 5 stars Not for heavy duty hiking on mixed turrain   January 26, 2008

I purchased Yaktrax Pro about 2 weeks ago and have hiked about 15 miles with them now. This morning I hiked on uneven surfaces that were not always covered with ice or snow, and the last metal coil on both heals opened exposing a sharp point; I didn't notice this until the hike was over, and by that time one of the rubber straps was broken as well. I expected the product to last much longer. I'm going to try "Get-A-Grip Ultra - Snow & Ice Traction Cleats" next.
