You don't have to worry about leeching carcinogenic plastics (Nalgene) or brain-damaging aluminum (Sigg when the coating scrapes off), and the bottle never gets that nasty taste - what more could you ask for!
Great Product October 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The water tastes great and the bottle is very durable. I wish could afford to by a few more bottles.

I sought out this product to avoid any possibility of leaching plasticizers in the cup. The product is simple, baby sized and sanitary. The baby took to this right away. I feel comfortable with this, I have no problem cleaning it, and my son has no problem handling it..
Great product, with little flaws (found some more!) September 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product is truly 100% stainless, including the cap! but it has a few short downfalls. 1) it can leak easily if u dont tighten it firmly (uses silicon to create seal) 2) because its pure stainless, it dosent keep liquids cold or hot, and u cant put hot ones in it cause u will melt the silicon seal or burn yourself. great for water, juices, and more, without the dangerous plasticizes in your drink!
WARNING EDITED VERSION NOW! I recently found the stainless is not as high quality as they claim. The reason i know this is randomly 4 to 5 microscopic cracks have appeared in the side of my container. I discovered this when i put orange soda in my container and found it all over my desk and shirt. upon clean up i found i kept wiping the same spots to have them leak some more! BUYER BEWARE!
Leaks like crazy! September 22, 2007 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
The Klean Kanteen might be an sufficient water bottle, but should NOT be considered a "sippy cup"' by any means! I bought the bottle w/ the Advant adaptor spouts and had milk leak all over my house, furniture, carpet, and children's clothing! The adaptor leaks (where it meets the spout), and plus you cannot fill the cup past the half way full mark or it leaks out of the neck of the bottle. What a nightmare! I appreciate the attempt to make a non plastic sippy cup, but I thought the term "sippy cup" meant "no leaking". As far as this product goes I would wait until the kids need an actual "water bottle" and then buy it.
