3 out of 5 stars Seems to be helping my game...   July 29, 2008
Warning!!! My results probably will not be typical!!! I am a less than average player. My handicap is capped at 18 (that's as high as my league allows for men), and shoot between 70 and 57 on nine holes.
I have been playing seriously for the last two years, and only seen marginal improvement. I used these balls as a filler to get free shipping, and because I want to standardize more of my game (I was playing with whatever I could find).
My first game after I got these balls I shot a 52. It seemed like I didn't have to worry about hitting the ball hard, just a nice easy swing. I was driving as far as the 7-8 handicappers in my four-some, and my iron shots (the ones I didn't duff) were going straighter. This ball also putts very well. It seemed to fly off the face of my putter. I recommend practicing with these balls to see how they putt.

My purchase of Intech golf balls has improved by 10-12 yards my driving distance as it is a low compression ball. My age is high 60's and my putting has not diminished with this ball (Limbo). My handicap has improved by 2 strokes and I believe will continue to improve. I am now hitting regularly in the 80's.
I recommend this ball to anyone with a handicap 15 or higher.

I've played the limbo ball for about two years, and it's a great performer. I try other balls frequently, and the limbo is as long, soft, and as durable as any I've tried (recently- Titleist NXT Tour, Top Flite Gamer, Laddie X, Nike Juice, and others). I'd say it's nearly exactly the same in performance as the Precept Laddie X.

If using a name brand isn't important to you, this is a great choice.

3 out of 5 stars Intech LIMBO golf ball review   April 20, 2008
A fine ball from tee to green. Great control and distance. Once on green I found my putting is not as accurate as before. Possibly because I have only played 5 rounds, so far, and not gotten the actual feel of the ball during putting.
Overall much better than average of golf balls I have tried.

I love these balls, especially for the eminently affordable price of under $10 for 18 balls. They are soft and long and putt well too. The only drawback is limited durability. Not everyone can afford to lose a sleeve of Pro V1s in a round like I did last week. The intechs are much harder to lose, for some reason.
